With a price starting under $1,400, the M300 data acquisition and datalogging system is highly configurable, allowing users to tailor the system to a wide variety of applications with as many as 320 switch points per mainframe. The system mainframe can be set up with 5 modules selected from 11 different types: a 6½-digit DMM; 20-, 32-, and 64-channel solid-state multiplexers; 32- and 64-channel reed multiplexers; a 20-V/4-I-channel mix multiplexer; a dual 4-channel RF multiplexer; a 4×8 two-wire matrix switch; a 16-channel actuator; and a multifunction module with four 8-bit digital I/O ports, four totalizer inputs, and four analog outputs. Terminal boxes facilitate module-to-system-under-test interconnection.
The logger can be used with or without a PC, and comes with UltraAcquire Software or, optionally, UltraAcquire Pro software for advanced datalogging applications. Features include interval scanning with storage of up to 100,000 time-stamped readings, a 4.3-in. LCD display, automatic configuration storage, and logging to a USB memory stick. When a scan is configured, multiple alarms can be set up, and trend graphs of critical channels can be monitored on the display. System interfaces include USB, GPIB, LAN (LXI-C), or RS-232. Rigol M300 Systems and accessories are available with 4 to 6-week lead time starting at under $1400 for the M301 mainframe that includes the MC3065 DMM module and UltraAcquire software.
