Edge connector offers low loss, high density
Intended for low-power loss and high-linear current applications, the HPCE (high-power card-edge) connector is rated to 9 A per power contact beam (with multiple power contacts fully energized) without exceeding a 30C temperature rise in still air.
Less than 7.50 mm high, the connector has a design based on stamped-and-formed power contact technology, offers low contact resistance, and promotes system airflow and heat dissipation. The highly configurable connector is available with power and signal contacts integrated into a single molded housing for power distribution and power control.
