Edgecard connectors suit ExpressCard apps

The Cannon Express Card 26-pin edgecard connectors and cover sets enable both compact ExpressCard/34 and /54 cards (for 34- and 54-mm-wide modules, respectively) to fit in the same aperture. Stainless-steel cover sets can either be snapped together or ultrasonically welded.

The RoHS-compliant allows up to 10,000 cover-set mating cycles. The connectors suit IT applications such as notebook computers, smart-card readers, security ID and biometric devices, TV tuners, and memory media adapters. (Contact Allene Macklin for pricing—available now.)
