EDS looks to attract full house in Vegas

Next month, the annual Electronics Distributors Show (EDS), will once again be held in Las Vegas, attracting manufacturers of electronic components, instruments and accessories, as well as distributors and manufacturer's representatives and other suppliers of industry goods and services.
Dubbed “the premier annual event for the main players in the international electronics industry,” the show will be held May 6 to 9 at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and feature a slew of scheduled events designed toward forging and maintaining business relationships through scheduled one-on-one meetings and other networking opportunities, according to show organizers.

Attendees are sure to hit the jackpot in product coverage, with product exhibits open throughout the event covering amplifiers, batteries and battery packs, cabinets and enclosures, capacitors, circuit protection devices, datacom, fasteners, and much more.

EDS is a combined effort and supported by the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) and the Electronics Representatives Association International (ERA), and is expected to attract some 5,000 industry professionals from around the world, including manufacturers of electronic components, instruments, and accessories, as well as distributors and manufacturer's representatives.
According to show officials, other scheduled events also include manufacturer and representative pre-scheduled meetings, educational programs, an all-industry reception themed “Mission Possible,” and an ECIA-ERA–sponsored breakfast —all designed to “allow industry professionals to come together to meet, make contacts, and build their businesses.”
