EISA SCSI host adapter has wide compatibility
The DTC3292 is an EISA SCSI host adapter that is compatible with all SCSI
and SCSI-2 peripherals, ASPI-compatible utilities, and drivers. The
plug-and-play board has a 32-bit bus master adapter and an EISA burst
data-transfer rate of up to 33 Mbytes/s. Of the seven devices that can be
supported, four can be floppy-disk drives–including the latest 2.
88-Mbyte, 3 1/2-in. drives. When multiple devices are connected, they are
powered up sequentially. The DTC3292 measures 4.4 x 13.375 in. and takes
2.9 A at 5 V. Software support includes DOS, Windows, OS/2, and NetWare
386. No drivers are required for SCO Unix, ISC Unix, SCO Xenix, and OS/2
