EL display is sunlight readable
The EL240.64 is an EL display for portable and battery-powered
applications. In the normal mode, the 240 x 64-pixel display has a power
consumption of 1.2 W. In the sunlight-readable mode, the display has a
luminance of 200 fL and a power consumption of under 4 W. The frame rate
is variable from 60 to 240 Hz. The viewing angle is greater than 160
