The eMMC PRO series (KLMCG8GEAC-B031) embedded flash memory ICs use eMMC 5.0 and are said to be the fastest available, with an interface speed of 400 Mbytes/s. The 16-, 32-, and 64-Gbyte devices come in an 11.5 x 13 mm BGA153 package.
In 32 and 64 Gbyte densities, the ICs interface has a random read or write speed of 7,000 IOPS. The chips read sequentially at 250 Mbytes/s and write sequentially at 90 Mbytes/s. eMMC version 5.0 is now nearing completion at JEDEC.
