The DTE series of encapsulated single-output dc/dc converters features three wide-input voltage range models, offering 20-W (DTE20), 40-W (DTE40), and 60-W (DTE60) output power. The units are available in either a chassis-mount or a DIN-rail format. The encapsulated package protects the converter from environmental factors found in industrial applications. Two 4:1 input voltage range options are based on nominal 24 (9–36) and 48 (18–75) Vdc. The models feature typical efficiency in the 89–92% range.
The 20-W DTE20 model measures 3.78 x 2.13 x 0.92 in.; the 40-W DTE40 is 4.41 x 2.51 x 1.01 in.; and the DTE60 60-W model measures 4.41 x 2.67 x 1.50 in. The series provides single-output voltage options of 5.1, 12, 24, or 48 Vdc, and isolation is rated at 2,500 Vdc for 60 s. The operating temperature range extends from –40°C to +85°C.
