With rounded edges for superior ergonomics, REMO-TEK series small electronic enclosures are said to offer a fresh new design for a wide range of handheld applications, including remote controls, mobile USB systems, compact measurement devices, pulse generation for ultra-sound and infra-red, mobile data recording, and wireless communications. The 2.81 x 1.55 x 0.45-in. enclosures are available in four types: with one, two or four buttons or in a buttonless “compact” version.
The enclosures are molded from Novodur P2H-AT — a standard impact strength, easy flowing, high gloss plastic which contains an antistatic additive — or P2H-AT and a zinc alloy, ZA4C1. The cases are available in two standard two-tone color choices — white/light gray and black/light gray — priced starting at $9.58, and features include a choice of protection bumpers (either solid plastic or polished chromed metal) plus an LED light pipe on the cover to indicate operation. Each enclosure can accommodate a CR2032 button cell and can be closed with just one screw.
