Encoder position sensor is fast, accurate

Suited for servo control in automation applications, the R-Series SSI encoder position sensor features fast data processing with highly accurate sensing. The sensor has an optional output data update rate to 250 µs, with as few as 16 µs between measurement-data clock cycles, and sensing accuracy to ±10 µm, depending on the application-specific package option selected.

Position sensing resolution to 1 µm is field adjustable from 1 to 100 µm. Output options include measurement of sensor speed and of the difference between two position magnets. (Contact David Edeal for pricing and availability.)
