The X25 Series rotary encoders are designed for
use in UL Class I, Groups C and D, and UL Class
II, Groups E, F, and G hazardous atmospheres. The
units have 5,000 rpm slew speeds, 1/4- or 3/8-in.
stainless-steel shafts, cast aluminum housings
with O-ring seals, and ABEC precision bearings.

Encoders survive hazardous environs

Additional encoder specifications are resolutions
from 1 to 5,000 pulses per revolution, quadrature
phasing of 90° ±25° electrical, and symmetry of 180° ±25°C
electrical. The units operate on 4.5 min to 26
Vdc max at 80 mA max, and output 30 Vdc max and
sink 40 mA at 0.5 Vdc max. (From $750–stock to 8
