Energy Star–compliant adapters suit gaming
The PSC30U-V series 30-W three-wire input desktop adapter are available with 12-, 24-, and 48-Vdc outputs, and are Energy Star EPS Version 2.0- and EISA-compliant. Featuring a low-profile design, nonvented spill-proof case, and Class B EMI compliance, the adapters target portable equipment, networking, peripherals, and gaming machines.
The adapters operate above 83.5% average efficiency and feature a maximum no-load power draw of 0.3 W. The adapters also feature overvoltage protection with automatic shut down and recovery after ac power reset, overcurrent protection with auto restart, and short-circuit protection. The adapters measure 4.59 x 2.17 x 1.24 in., feature IEC 320 C14 inlet receptacles, weigh 8.82 oz, and are rated for operation from 0° to 40°C. ($24.42 ea/25 — available now.)
