Equipto Electronics’ minimalist KD Series server rack suits data centers, more

Equipto Electronics’ Knock-Down (KD) Series server rack takes a minimalist design approach, yet offers the same strength and durability of much higher-priced equipment racks, providing a maximum weight capacity with casters of 1,000 lb. Priced at $599, the KD Series is very cost-competitive for use in server rooms, data centers, and other applications requiring multiple open racks. Its knock-down assembly lets it ship at a much lower dimensional-weight price than all-welded frames.  The standard rack measures 75 x 23 x 36 in. and weighs less than 120 lb. The RoHS-compliant design is based on 16 main sections of 14-gauge structural steel, including four 41U rack rails. Field assembly takes less than 30 min. Standard paint is wrinkle-finish black powder coat, with other types available, and additional options include rails, casters, and shelves; leveling feet are standard.
