ESD device offers ultralow capacitance

Suited for high-speed digital consumer applications, the PicoGuard CM1227 ESD device features an ultralow channel input capacitance of 0.35 pF. The device provides four channels of ±15-kV contact ESD protection, which exceeds IEC61000-4-2 level 4 standards.

Available in a 10-pin microUDFN (2.5 x 1.0-mm) RoHS-compliant package, the device also offers channel input capacitance matching of 0.02 pF typ. Minimal capacitance change over operating voltage range, and each I/O pin can withstand over 1,000 ESD strikes. (Samples, $0.30 — available now.)
