ESD device saves up to 80% board space

The TPD2E007 two-channel ESD solution is the first device available in the patented PicoStar packaging. Measuring 0.15 mm, the packaging offers designers the option to embed silicon components inside the PCB, which could save up to 80% board space compared to typical ESD solutions.

Offering ±8-kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge and ±15-kV IEC 61000-4-2 air-gap discharge, the ESD solution has a back-to-back diode configuration for negative signal swing. The device also has 15 pF line to ground capacitance and low 50 nA leakage current. (From $0.20 ea/1,000 — available now.)
