ESD protection array guards USB ports

The VBUS054CV-HS3 four-line ESD protection array combines low capacitance with a high surge current to protection dual high-speed USB ports or up to four other high-frequency signal lines against transient voltage signals. Packaged in the leadless LLP75, the protection device features a 1.6 x 1.6-mm footprint and a 0.75-mm profile.

Load capacitance is 1.2 pF, and leakage current is less than 0.1 µA at 5 V. The ESD protection array offers a breakthrough voltage of 7 V at 1 mA and a clamping voltage of 22 V at 13 A. ($0.15 ea/100,000 — 10 weeks ARO.)
