Offered in 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.4-mm SOT-953 and 1.0 x 0.6 x 0.37-mm SOT-1123 package, respectively, the NUP4016 and the ESD11L5.0D ESD protection arrays are designed for portable applications such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and flat-panel displays. The NUP4016 protects four high-speed data lines and has ultra-low capacitance of 0.5 pF per I/O to suitable interfaces such as USB 2.0 and HDMI.
Integrating the company’s low-capacitance technology into a three-pin package, the ESD11L5.0D protects two high-speed data lines at 0.5 pF to protect the D+ and D lines of a USB2.0 port with a single device. Both devices can clamp an input ESD waveform of 15 kV to less than 8 V in nanoseconds. (NUP4016, $0.40 ea/3,000; ESD11L5.0D, $0.21 ea/8,000 — available now.)
