The XM50 is said to be the first PowerPC-based ESMexpress computer on a plug-on module. It uses a Freescale MPC8548 or 8543 with clock frequencies of 800 MHz to 1.5 GHz and accommodates up to 2 Gbytes of soldered DDR2 SDRAM.
The card has three GbE channels, six USB ports, three SATA connections, and 1, 2, 4 or 8 lanes of PCI Express. It uses 12 W max and operates at –40° to 85°C. ($1,432 — 2 weeks ARO.)
