Eval board aids 5-Mp HD camera designs

The e-CAM50 DM37x camera daughter board can use the Omnivision OV5642 HD camera module and be directly interfaced on the TI DM3730 EVM board. For applications providing HD 5-Mpixel video recording at 30 fps, the 58.6 x 43.2-mm card provides an excellent starting point.

Logically, e-CAM50_DM37x connects to the high-speed CMOS sensor interface of the TI AM3715/DM3730 processor. The solution uses the fast Sitara (AM3703,AM3715) or DaVinci (DM3725, DM3730) processors from Texas Instruments with 50% more ARM power and 40% more DSP power. ($349 — available now.)
