External DVD writer is USB powered

The SE-208AB optical disk drive is a USB-powered slim portable DVD writer. The external drive provides a variety of speeds across different data media types including 24X CD-ROM, 24X CD-RW, and 8X DVD±R, 5X DVD-RAM, 6X DVD+R Dual Layer, 6X DVD-R Dual Layer, 8X DVD+RW, and 6X DVD-RW recording.

The SE-208AB is compatible with all major operating systems, including Win7 and Mac OS. The unit features buffer under run technology to prevent errors at high writing speeds while enabling PC multitasking. The new model allows access to the fifth subdirectory and more than 3,000 files, improving on previous models that only recognize the first subdirectory and 1,000 files.
