External supplies meets medical needs
MED Series external power supplies are said to be the first off-the-shelf
external supplies approved for medical applications. The supplies are
approved to UL 544 and CSA standard C22.2, and they meet both FCC and VDE
Class B emissions requirements. They are available in ratings from 7
through 22 W and have fully regulated single, dual, or triple outputs.
Output ratings are 5 or 12 V on the main output, 12 V on the second
output, and -12 V on the third output. Input voltage is 120 Vac, 60 Hz.
Line regulation is +/-0.5%, and load regulation is +/-5%. Ripple-and-noise
is 20 mVp-p. The supplies are available in wall-mount or tabletop models,
both with a 6-ft output cord and 5-pin DIN connector. (price–availability
