The EMC2301/2302/2303/2305 fan speed controllers deliver advanced thermal management in systems requiring as few as one fan or as many as five fans. The devices are designed to receive drive signals from the central host and hold fan speeds to within 1% accuracy.
All devices can issue important system alerts and come with configurable startup and ramp rate controls. The EMC2301, a single-fan device, comes in an 8-pin MSOP; the EMC2302, a dual-fan device, comes in a 10-pin MSOP; the EMC2303, a triple-fan device, comes in a 12-pin QFN; and the EMC2305, a five-fan part, is available in a 16-pin QFN package.
