Fast 16-bit MCUs target real-time control

The XE162xM, XE164xM and XE167xM 16-bit MCUs target real-time industrial control applications. The ICs provide 80-MIPS peak performance, eight-channel interrupt-driven data transfer, 16-priority-level interrupts, and 192 to 576 Kbytes of flash.

The devices have ASC, SSC, I2C, LIN, and CAN interfaces and are suited for safety applications using their memory protection unit, memory checker, and memory error correction. They have up to 24 channels of fast A/D conversion and come in 64-, 100-, and 144-pin LQFP packages. (From $7 — samples available now.)
