Fast 80 Gbyte SSD features tiny size

The SSD 310 solid state disk drive brings an innovative form factor with speed, flexibility, ruggedness, and scalability to embedded systems. The device supports SATA signals over a PCIe mini-connector with 40 and 80 Gbyte capacities.

The 50.8 x 29.9 x 4.9 mm unit weights less than 10 g and features a read/write latency of 65/75 µs (typ) and sustained sequential read/write speeds of up to 200/70 Mbytes/s (in the 80 Gbyte version). It uses a 3.3 V mSATA supply rail with SATA interface power management and operates from 0° to 70°C with active power of 150 mW and idle power of 75 mW (typ).
