Fast Ethernet switch units handle 8 ports

The SF1, SF2, SF3, and SF4 are 8-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch units that are either managed or unmanaged and have either RJ-45 or M12 connections. The units consume less than 7 W per switch and come in a fanless housing.

The fault tolerant units support full-duplex and half-duplex operation, high-speed nonblocking, store-and-forward switching, and auto-negotiation, as well as Layer-2 switching. The managed units (SF2 and SF3) support PoE on ports 0 and 1 and QoS with four traffic classes (IEEE 802.1p tagged frames). (Unmanaged switches, $1,325; managed switches, $1,769 — 6 weeks ARO.)
