The SST26WF016B low power 1.8 V 16-Mbit NOR flash memory IC features a fast six-wire SQI 4-bit serial interface. Memory block erase commands are completed in just 18 ms, endurance is 100,000 erase/write cycles, minimum, and data retention is 100 years.
Active read current at 104 MHz is only 15 mA typical, and standby takes 10 µA typical. The IC has a one-time programmable 2 Kbyte secure ID area and software write protection of individual blocks for flexible data/code protection. It is available in 6 x 5 mm WSON8, SOIC8, and XFBGA8 packages, starting at $0.93 ea/10,000.
