The MG04ACA SATA and MG04SCA SAS 3.5 inch hard disk drives offer 2 to 6 Tbyte capacity with a 205 Mbyte/s sustained data rate – a 30% increase over previous models. The 7,200 RPM units use 5 and 12 V supplies and take 11.3 W operating and 6.0 W in idle.
The enterprise HDDs support both industry-standard 4K native and 512e Advanced Format sector technologies. SAS interface models provide 12 Gbit/s transfer rates. They festure persistent write cache technologies to protect against data loss in the event of sudden power loss. Sampling to OEM customers in Q1 2015.
