Able to measure temperature from 200° to 1,600°C using three standard optical fields of view and three fiber optic cable lengths (0.9, 1.8, and 3 m), the OS4000 industrial fiber-optic infrared transmitter series has a 1-ms response time and adjustable emissivity from 0.05 to 0.99.

Standard features include laser sighting to position lens probes (not included), four analog outputs (1 mV/deg, 0 to 5 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, or 4 to 20 mA), high/low alarm outputs, fiber-optic gain adjust, max/min measurement, RS-232 interface, and Windows software to set up response time, high/low alarms, and datalogging.
