The 64-Mbit SST26VF064 serial quad I/O (SQI) NOR flash memory runs on 2.7 to 3.6 V and is said to provide the industry’s fastest erase times and superior reliability. Standby current consumption is 15 µA, typical, and the active read current at 104 MHz is 15 mA, typical.
Sector/Block Erase takes 25 ms max. and chip erase takes 35 ms typ. The IC features 100 year data retention and endurance of over 100,000 erase/write cycles. Enhanced safety features include software write protection of individual blocks for flexible data/code protection and a OTP 2 Kbyte secure ID area with a 64-bit factory-programmed unique ID. $1.84 ea/10,000. 16- and 32-Mbit versions are also available.
