Enabling multichannel, wide-bandwidth sampling in portable test equipment, the dual 14-bit 250-Msample/s ADS62P49 A/D converter is offered as the fastest of its kind 66% greater bandwidth than competing dual ADCs. The device achieves 73-dBFS SNR and 85-dBc SFDR at an input frequency of 60 MHz.

The QFN-packaged part also features a power consumption of 625 mW per channel and an internal gain up to 6 dB in 1-dB steps. Also available is the ADS62P49EVM evaluation board, which has on-board sockets for a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator, crystal filter, and the company’s clock distribution and jitter-cleaning chip, the CDCE72010, which allows the EVM to function as a system-level evaluation kit and an ADC evaluation board.
