FEDs offer high brightness
and wide viewing angle
Characterized by 160° viewing angles, the 5.2-in. monochrome pale-green
FE532 M-1 and high-bright green FE532 HB FEDs exhibit a brightness of 70
and 150 fL, respectively.
The displays consume 1 W at 70 fL with a 10% duty cycle,
offer a 1-ms response time for full video speed, and provide instant turn
on. Color versions will be available by the end of the year. (FE532 M-1,
$550; FE532 HB, $595–3 to 4 weeks ARO.)
