The MAX2557/MAX2597 WCDMA Band II and Band V femto base-station transceiver chipset utilize the company’s high dynamic range MAX-PHY interface to eliminate the need for a mixed-signal analog front-end. The MAX2557 receiver has four LNA inputs to allow monitoring of WCDMA and GSM macro-network signals, while the MAX2599 transmitter integrates PAs.
Operating over the –40° to 85°C, the MAX2557 is available in a 48-pin fcLGA package and the MAX2597 is packaged in a 64-pin fcLGA. (Call company for pricing and availability.)
