The Type 947C high-current medium-power film capacitor is designed for dc filtering applications to 1,200 Vdc. The capacitor handles up to 72 A at frequencies to 20 kHz, and it is rated for ripple currents up to a 100 KHz and peak voltages up to 1800 V.

Capacitance is to 730 µF at 800 V, 470 µF at 1,000 V, and 320 µF at 1,200 V. The capacitor is housed in a 90-mm aluminum cylinder in lengths of 97, 120, 145, and 170 mm. (From $35 — 8 to 10 weeks ARO.)
