A bus-powered FireWire version of the company's REV drive provides a 35-Gbyte storage capability. The drive delivers read-write performance of up to 25 Mbytes/s (maximum native transfer rate).
For Macintosh platforms, the drive is a 6-pin FireWire 400 device that supports Mac OS X 10.1.5 and above. Supported PC operating systems include Windows 2000/XP and Server 2003/SP3/SP4. A power supply is included for use when daisy-chaining FireWire devices or when using 4-pin FireWire connections. ($399�available now.)
