The LA-LatticeXP2 FPGA family is qualified to meet the certification requirements of the AEC-Q100 standard as defined by the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC). The chips have flash boot memory and FPGA blocks integrated into a single die and can be reprogrammed in the vehicle for easy feature upgrades.
The family has three devices, with capacities from 5K to 17K 4-input lookup tables, block RAM up to 276 Kbits, and up to five sysDSP blocks for high-performance, pipelined multiply and accumulate functions. They have up to four PLLs and feature a 1.2-V core voltage, flexible I/O buffers that support LVCMOS, SSTL, HSTL and LVDS, 0.6 to 2.2 Kbits of flash serial TAG memory, and fine-pitch ball-grid-array (ftBGA) packages. (From $4.50 ea/100,000 — available now.)
