Flash MCUs target advanced automotive

The SH74552 and SH74562 MCUs target advanced automotive driver assistance applications and feature a compact 13 × 13-mm package and 160-MHz operation. They have 1 Mbyte of high-speed flash, along with dual FlexRay and quad CAN interfaces.

The devices operate at –40° to 125°C providing 288-MIPS performance, and have a 12-bit A/D converter. They have an FPU supporting single precision and double precision, a timer unit for controlling a BLDC motor, and an I2 C port. ($89 to $100 ea/sample qty — samples available May.)
