Flash Memory Summit is August 11-13

Obviously flash memory technology is a very big deal in almost all application areas. And, there’s no single place better than the Flash Memory Summit to become an expert in this key area. Starting Tuesday at 8:30 am there will be 1 hour forums on PCIe storage, architectures, SSDs. enterprise storage, enterprise applications, and business. There will be pre-conference seminars on Monday 10 August from 8 am to 5 pm covering a verity of memory topics.

Usually I name the keynote speakers when covering conferences, but since the Flash Summit has fourteen keynotes during the three days, I won’t be able to do that here. Suffice to say the half-hour keynotes are from 11:00 to 12:30 in the morning each of the three days and again from around 1:30 to 3:00 in the afternoon. You can see the schedule at www.flashmemorysummit.com

There will be more than 90 exhibitors on hand to answer your every question. Exhibit floor hours are: Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday Noon – 7:00 pm, and Thursday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Here are notes from just a few of the exhibitors:

SanDisk 's recently announced InfiniFlash is a massive scale-out, all-flash storage system that provides boundless scale, efficiency, and resiliency for hyperscale and cloud workloads.
