FlexRay controller drives auto network

The MB91F465XA FlexRay controller targets automotive driver-assistance applications and uses a 32-bit CPU, with an internal clock speed of 100 MHz. The controller enables implementation of the FlexRay protocol without the need for companion devices.

The FPT100-packaged chip runs on 3.0 to 5.5 V, supports 2-channel and FIFO operations, has a 17-channel 10-bit A/D converter, and supports 218 different identifiers with an 8-Kbyte message buffer. It also has one I2C, two CAN, and three LIN-USART interfaces as well as a PLL. A total of 544 Kbytes of flash memory and 32 Kbytes of RAM are available, (From $8.27 sample qtysamples available now.)
