Designed for the automotive, industrial, and commercial markets, the 6801 and 6251 Series FPC/FFC connectors offer zero insertion force (ZIF), vertical mount, and secure locking. The 0.5-mm pitch 6801 can handle a FPC/FFC thickness of 0.30 mm ±0.05 mm and are rated at 0.5 A/pin, 50 Vrms, offering a 70-N retention force and optional shortened contacts for automated assembly.
The 6251 devices are configured for vertical mount, can accommodate the same FFC/FPC cable shape as previous devices, and feature a molded flip lid. The connectors are available in 10/30/40/45/50/60/64-way versions with standard gold plating to protect against tin whiskering.
