FPGA design tools suite is unified package

The ISE Design Suite 10.1 is a unified release providing FPGA logic, embedded, and DSP designers with an entire line of design tools with full interoperability. The package delivers an average of 2x faster run times, and features SmartXplorer technology, which uses distributed processing across multiple Linux machines to enable up to 38% faster run times.

The design package has PlanAhead Lite floorplanning, PinAhead technology that facilitates early and intelligent pinout definition, and provides for early analysis of power requirements. The Design Suite consists of ISE Foundation, Embedded Development Kit (EDK) with Platform Studio (XPS), System Generator for DSP, AccelDSP synthesis tool, ChipScope Pro analyzer and ChipScope Pro Serial I/O toolkit, PlanAhead design and analysis tool, and ISE simulator.
