Spartan-6 and Virtex-6 FPGA Connectivity Targeted Reference Design Kits are PCI Express compliant and offer out-of-the-box working PCIe connectivity to enable engineers to quickly connect and focus on the rest of the system.

The Spartan-6 reference designs passed the PCI-SIG compliance and interoperability testing for a PCIe 1.1 single-lane configuration with GTP serial transceivers running at 2.5 Gbits/s and the Virtex-6 designs passed for PCIe 2.0 x4-lane Gen2 configuration with GTX serial transceivers running at 5 Gbits/s.
