Freq multiplier achieves continuous output

The HMC598 GaAs MMIC active x 2 frequency multiplier chip achieves continuous output frequency coverage from 22 to 46 GHz. The device comprises an input amplifier, a low conversion loss frequency doubler, and an output buffer amplifier.

When driven with a 5-dBm input signal, this frequency multiplier provides 15-dBm typical output power and the Fo and 3Fo isolations are 25 and 15 dBc, respectively, at 30 GHz. Die size is 2.07 x 1.86 x 0.1 mm, and temperature range is from 55° to 85°C. ($32.20 ea/10 — available now.)
