The 3,000-W HPS3000 front-end distributed-power supply targets enterprise networks and telecom systems. It is an alternative to ac/dc rectifiers and other rack-based power systems.

The supply produces 48-V regulated output power at 62.0 A and is rated for up to 3,000-W total output power at 200-Vac input and 1,500 W at 110 Vac. It has a 1U x 3U form factor, resulting in a power density of 41 W/in.3 It features same-side ac inputs and dc outputs and can be operated in parallel across a 1U 19–in. rack shelf to deliver 12-kW total output power, and 92% efficiency at 50% load.
