The auro-he series modular front-end and rectifiers produce up to 1,500 W from a 1U (1.6-in.)-high enclosure. They are hot-swappable with 92% efficiency and feature 18.75-W/in.3 power density and output voltages of 48 and 54.4 Vdc.
The front-end and rectifier features a 5-V/1-A standby output and includes three standard models with automatic load sharing and ORing circuitry as well as an I2 C serial bus for external monitoring and control. Four versions of the unit can be specified as a 19–in. power-shelf that delivers up to 6,000 W. The units provide >0.98 power factor and operate from –20° to 70°C and can start up at temperatures as low as –40°C with reduced performance. Cooling is by dual-speed fans.
