The model B8040FD DDS function generator provides sinwave outputs from 1 µHz to 40 MHz with harmonic distortion less than −54 dBc and stability of 1 ppm short term and 40 ppm long term. It it can also generate 5-MHz square, and 1-MHz pulse, triangle, ramp, and sine (x) x, and exponential up and down waveforms plus noise.

The unit, which comes with a keyboard for rapid entry of waveform parameters, can provide AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, and PSK modulation as well as bursts of up to 65,535 of all internal waveforms. It also has a 100-MHz frequency counter and an RS232 port. ($778 available now.)
