The SafeTI functional safety software development process is now certified as suitable for development of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 compliant software components. TÜV NORD assessed the entire development process that is centered around Hercules microcontroller software components.
In addition, new SafeTI Compliance Support Packages (CSPs), developed according to TI’s certified software development process, are now available for Hercules software components. The CSPs were developed to make it easier for engineers using Hercules software to achieve end system functional safety certification.
