Quadcopters are expensive and the last thing any self-respecting drone pilot would want is to have their investment destroyed. Unfortunately, these things happen. Flying too low to ground for curiosity’s sake has the tendency of ending very badly, especially when animals are involved. Humans aren’t the only ones spooked by surveillance. As YouTube user Buddhanz1 will attest, the ram he was observing decided got up close and personal, introducing the business side of his horns to Buddhanz1’s FPV quadcopter.
Within a single head-butt, or dare I say, fell swoop, the ram sent the drone crashing into the shrub below. Naturally, when Budd returned to retrieve his drone, he was greeted by his friend, the ram. Having his hands full carrying the drone, Budd didn’t notice the ram was charging toward him. “He got me pretty good,” exclaimed Budd in a YouTube comment. The best part of the video — which can be seen below — shows Budd running from the ram!
When confronted by self-righteous YouTube activists over the prospect of animal abuse, Buddhanz1 assures us that the ram is actually his pet, which he rescued from its previous owner. Furthermore, it can deduced that Budd’s a bit of a masochist when it comes to ram-induced head-butts, given his channel’s penchant for viral ram attack videos shot with footage from a Go-Pro mounted on this very same ram. Case in point: This entire fiasco was expected.
