The series fuse block and FST and SPT 5 x 20-mmm fuses now feature gold-plated contacts. The end-cap to clip contact provides low contact and corrosion resistance. The fuse block plastic offers enhanced thermal characteristics according to IEC 60695-2-12 and 13. Gold-plated surface-mount terminals improve solderability between the PCB and fuse box.
The FST and SPT 5 x 20-mm fuse series features time-lag characteristics, while the FST has a low breaking capacity of 35 to 125 A and current range of 50 mA to 20 A at 250 Vac. The SPT current range is 1 to 16 A, with a high-breaking capacity to 1,500 A at 250 Vac. The fuses can also be soldered directly onto PCBs in limited spaces.
