The passive HMC774LC3B GaAs MMIC fundamental mixer suits up-conversion and down-conversion applications in microwave radio, VSAT, military and space, test equipment and sensor applications from 7 to 43 GHz. This mixer requires no external components or matching circuitry and exhibits up to 22-dBm input IP3, and a wide IF bandwidth spanning dc to 8 GHz.
Due to optimized balun structures, the part provides LO to RF and LO to IF suppression up to 40 dB. Typical conversion loss is 11 dB. This wideband mixer operates with LO drive levels of 15 dBm, and exhibits consistent conversion loss and compression across its entire operating bandwidth. The HMC774LC3B is also available in die format as the HMC774. (Call company for pricing and availability.)
