The MAX9672/MAX9673/MAX9674 10-bit gamma-correction reference systems integrate MTP (multiple-time programmable) memory. The company’s MTP technology enables the integration of NV (nonvolatile) memory with high-performance amplifiers so gamma and VCOM registers are stored on the chip. With 12 (‘72), 14 (‘73), or 16 (‘74) programmable gamma-correction outputs and one voltage reference for VCOM adjustment, these highly integrated systems are ideal for TFT-LCD applications.
The parts support up to 100 write operations to gamma and VCOM registers. The gamma outputs can drive 200-mA peak transient current and settle within 1 µs. Housed in a 28-pin TQFN-EP package, the devices are fully specified over the –40° to 85°C extended temperature range. (From $1.20 ea/1,000 — available now.)
